Ramon Arratia is a seasoned expert in sustainability and public affairs, currently serving as Chief Sustainability Officer and Vice President of Global Public Affairs at Ball Corporation, where efforts focus on enhancing circularity in packaging and improving recycling rates. With a background as Global Director of Public Affairs and Sustainability & Public Affairs Director for Ball Packaging Beverage Europe, Arratia has been instrumental in shaping legislation and advancing industry standards in Europe. In addition to current roles, Arratia has contributed to the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership as a Senior Associate and served as Chairman for Every Can Counts in Europe. Previous positions include Sustainability Director at Interface, where significant reductions in GHG emissions and water use were achieved, and Senior Corporate Responsibility Manager at Vodafone, responsible for the Global Corporate Responsibility report. Arratia holds an MBA from the University of Warwick and a master's in Quality Management from Universidad de Valladolid.
