Tom Yates is a Senior Commercial Manager MRICS at Balfour Beatty plc with extensive experience in the delivery of healthcare projects, particularly in the work winning environment. Since joining Balfour Beatty in March 2004, Tom has taken on various leadership roles, including Sales Lead for healthcare opportunities and Commercial Lead for significant projects such as the Midland Metropolitan Hospital and the Telford and Shrewsbury Women and Children Procure 21+ project. Tom’s background includes substantial experience with high-value, complex construction contracts and sustainable procurement initiatives. Prior to Balfour Beatty, Tom worked as a Quantity Surveyor at Carillion Building, contributing to diverse projects including healthcare and high-rise developments. Tom holds a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying from The University of Salford.
