Andrei I., P.Eng, is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in system architecture and software development. Currently serving as a System Architect at balena since July 2021, Andrei focuses on research and development of AI tools and the establishment of CI/CD pipelines. Prior roles include Software Architect at CBC, where Andrei designed and implemented a video management system, and Principal Engineer at Donis INC, where Andrei developed IoT devices and a medical billing system. Notable achievements also include leadership at Avoca Technologies in developing an automated video management system and software development for diverse technologies at various organizations, including BlackBerry and NAV CANADA. Andrei holds a Bachelor of Science Honours in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Science in Biophysics from York University.
