Donna Blum has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Their most recent position is as the Software Sales Director at BHMI, a role they have held since January 2022. In February 2023, they joined the U.S. Faster Payments Council as a Member of the FPC Operational Considerations for Instant and Immediate Payments Work Group.

Prior to these roles, Donna worked as a Customer Relationship Manager at Scantron Technology Solutions from March 2021 to December 2021. Donna also served as the Admissions and Communications Director at Omaha Christian Academy from 2018 to March 2021.

Donna has experience in development and outreach, having held positions as the Associate Director of Development at Assure Women's Center from 2016 to 2017, and as the Director of Development and Outreach at Omaha Christian Academy from 2014 to 2016.

Before transitioning into education and development roles, Donna worked in business development. Donna was a Business Development Specialist at Baldwin Hackett & Meeks, Inc. from 2005 to 2013, and at Advanced Network Technologies from 2001 to 2004.

Their career began at Kingston Technology in 1994, where they worked as a Sales and Marketing Specialist/Account Manager until 2001. Prior to that, Donna was an Inside Sales Representative at Inacom Information Systems from 1991 to 1994.

Donna Blum received a Bachelor's degree in Business and Marketing from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 1991. In 2013, they obtained a Certificate in Fundraising Management from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Prior to their higher education, Donna Blum attended Elkhorn High School from 1983 to 1987.
