Mariela Castillo has over 17 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, primarily at the St. Baldrick's Foundation, where roles have included Director of Special Events and Special Events Manager, contributing to the charity's mission of funding research for childhood cancer cures. Prior experience includes serving as Project Manager at ISI Translation Services, overseeing localization projects, and as a Child Care Worker at New Alternatives for Children, Inc., focusing on the care and support of residents. Mariela holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
