Pierre-Yves Sevar is an experienced Plant Manager at Balchem Corporation since September 2021, previously serving as Maintenance & Reliability Engineering Manager for TYVEK® at DuPont from September 2011 to September 2021. In this role, Pierre-Yves led a team of over 100 individuals, managing an annual budget of approximately $30 million and overseeing the maintenance and reliability of production assets. Additional roles at DuPont included General Maintenance Supervisor and Operations Supervisor, where responsibilities encompassed team supervision, maintenance reliability, operations team leadership, and crisis management. Significant achievements include a 78% reduction in wastewater permit deviations and a record of over 2000 days of continuous steam distribution. Pierre-Yves holds Master’s degrees in Chemical Engineering from Université catholique de Louvain and Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria.
