Kristen DeAndrade is the founder of The Little Legs Big Heart Foundation, established in May 2024, which empowers individuals living with skeletal dysplasia and their families by providing access to medical care, advocacy, and community support. As a skeletal dysplasia patient advocate at David S. Feldman, MD since May 2019, Kristen assists patients and families throughout their treatment journeys. Kristen is also an author, having published the memoir "Little Legs Big Heart" in 2019, and currently works on a second book as a Forbes Advantage Impact Author. With experience as a motivational speaker, Kristen shares personal stories related to disability and inclusion at various events. Additionally, Kristen created the Skeletal Dysplasia Division at The MAGIC Foundation and held previous roles as a studio manager and patient care technician. Kristen holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the College of Charleston.
