Ryan Duncan has held a number of roles in the IT and retail industries. From 2006 to 2010, they were a Department Supervisor at Best Buy, responsible for supervising multiple employees in several different retail departments, meeting sales quotas while maintaining customer experience and driving profitability, and directing employees toward monthly sales initiatives. From 2010 to 2016, they worked at AT&T as a Retail Sales Consultant, building relationships with clients to gain insight into product and service needs, using techniques to uncover unknown needs and to match client needs with AT&T offerings, and gaining new customers while maintaining existing customer base. In 2015, they worked as a Territory Manager at ORRELLS FOOD SERVICE INC, responsible for acquiring and maintaining accounts in the food service industry, maintaining accounts in multiple cities in North Carolina, and developing sales in order to surpass monthly sales quotas. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Sales Engineer and Product Specialist at RapidFire Tools, engaging in activities to support efforts to sell and implement cybersecurity and compliance software tools, pre-sales responsibilities including product demonstration, implementation and discovery discussions, and webinar presentations, as well as training new employees and creating technical documentation for use in the sales process. From 2021 to 2022, they worked as a Senior Sales Engineer at Kaseya. Currently, they are a Sr. Solutions Architect at Balbix.
Ryan Duncan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Kennesaw State University. Ryan is also certified as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)², which they obtained in July 2022.
