Jude Fernando has extensive work experience in the field of DevOps and Release Engineering. Jude currently holds the position of Senior DevOps Engineer at Balbix, starting in June 2021. Prior to that, Jude worked as a Senior SRE at Equinix from February 2020 to June 2021. Jude also served as a Senior Staff DevOps Engineer at Avitas Systems, a BHGE venture, from November 2017 to March 2020. Before that, they worked as a Staff DevOps Engineer at GE Global Research from June 2012 to November 2017. Jude began their career as a Build and Release Engineer at Dialog in April 2000, and they held similar roles at Symyx Technologies, Kontiki, and VeriSign before that.

Jude Fernando completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Anna University, where they attended from 1992 to 1996.
