Raquel Blanco has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Global Customers and PPAs Director at Iberdrola since May 2000, where responsibilities include fostering partnerships with global corporations to facilitate decarbonization through renewable energy solutions. Previous roles at Iberdrola include Global Smart Mobility Director, Smart Solutions Director, Products and Marketing Director, and Efficiency and Energy Services Director. Raquel has also served as General Manager of Tarragona Power and held various engineering and teaching positions earlier in their career. In addition to ongoing board memberships at Balantia and Wallbox Chargers, Raquel holds a Master of Science in Energy and Resources from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Engineering in Industrial Energy Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, accompanied by a Mechanical Engineer qualification from RWTH Aachen University.
