Chris van Put is currently the Project Leader for Climate and Sustainability at Gemeente Weststellingwerf, a position held since November 2023. With extensive experience in energy transition and sustainability, Chris van Put has been an Advisor at Balance - Advies, Projecten, Interim since January 2012, also serving as a Senior Advisor in Planning and Risk Management. Additional roles include membership in local working groups focused on biodiversity and village vision in Oldeholtpade. Previous expertise includes advising on energy transition at Gemeente Rheden and leadership within Energie Coöperatie De Toekomst. Chris van Put has a strong educational background, including a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management Science from NHL Hogeschool and ongoing training in strategic environmental management at the University of Groningen Business School.
