Jorge Gonzalez is an experienced public administration professional, currently serving as Village Manager for Bal Harbour Village since November 2013. Prior to this role, Jorge held the position of City Manager for the City of Miami Beach from 2000 to 2013 and served as Senior Assistant Chief Administrative Officer in Montgomery County, Maryland, from 1999 to 2000. From 1995 to 1999, Jorge was the Assistant County Manager in Arlington County and held the title of Assistant Director - Administration at Miami Dade County from 1990 to 1995. Jorge's educational background includes a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Politics and Public Affairs, both from the University of Miami.
