Marco Manetti is an accomplished materials and processes expert with extensive experience in the engineering field, currently serving as a Materials & Processes Principal Engineer at Baker Hughes since July 2017. Manetti has demonstrated technical leadership in material characterization for metallic materials, including additive manufacturing and powder metallurgy, while also overseeing material data management and quality assurance. Previous roles at Baker Hughes included Senior Engineer and Lead Engineer, focusing on new product and technology development, materials selection, and special processes qualification. Earlier experience includes a position at GE Oil & Gas, where critical skills in material characterization and fracture mechanics were honed. Manetti holds a Ph.D. in Fracture Mechanics, along with Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering, all from Università degli Studi di Firenze.
