Amit Sakaria is an experienced professional in the industrial sector, currently serving as Global Operations Manager at Baker Hughes since March 2020, overseeing operations related to industrial valves, pumps, and gears. Previously, Amit acted as Global Projects Leader at Baker Hughes, leading projects for Bently Nevada. Prior roles include Global Projects Leader at GE Oil & Gas from September 2014 to March 2020, managing significant projects with a total volume of $200 million. Amit also held the position of Projects Director at GE Energy, focusing on projects in the Middle East, India, and Africa. Earlier experience includes serving as Manager Service at GE - Bently Nevada and MDS Engineer at Sherman International Pvt. Ltd., as well as a Graduate Engineer trainee at Vam Organics. Amit holds a BE in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, where education was completed between 1988 and 1992.
