Ajay Gaonkar is a Principal Engineer at Baker Hughes, where since May 2011, has transformed the team into a world-class independent unit, successfully executing over 250 projects, including 20 advanced simulation projects, while doubling project outputs with existing resources. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Manager at Ingenero Technologies from May 2005 to April 2011, where Ajay guided numerous engineering and software projects, achieving significant productivity savings through automation. Additionally, Ajay worked as Deputy Manager at Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Limited, focusing on operations and commissioning of a 400 KTA ethylene plant, and began a career as a Graduate Engineer Trainee at Essar Steel, contributing to the operations of a 2MMTPA Hot Briquetted Iron Plant. Ajay holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, completed in 1995.
