Hugh Rawls, R.N., CSPI, is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in emergency and poison information services. Currently serving as a Specialist in Poison Information at the Florida Poison Information Center - Jacksonville since June 2001, Hugh provides critical medical treatment recommendations for various toxic exposure incidents. Additionally, Hugh works as a PRN Emergency Department Registered Nurse at Baker County Medical Services, offering expertise in triage and charge nursing. Involving in disaster relief through the Duval County Medical Reserve Corps since April 2012, Hugh’s previous roles include Registered Nurse positions in emergency and intensive care settings at Methodist Medical Center and Baptist Medical Center - Nassau. Early career experience includes functioning as an EMT/II at Westside Ambulance and a Flight Medical Aidman with the 377th Medical Company, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to emergency medical care. Hugh holds an Associate of Arts degree in Nursing from Florida State College at Jacksonville and a Certificate as EMT/II from Butte College.
