Kate Newcomb is a seasoned procurement professional with extensive experience in category management and sourcing within the food and beverage industry. Currently serving as Senior Buyer for Corporate Procurement at BakeMark since August 2022, Kate has previously held significant roles such as Regional Category Manager for North America at Wrist Ship Supply, where responsibilities included procurement strategy and contract negotiations. Kate's earlier experience at Save A Lot and C&S Wholesale Grocers involved category analysis and merchandising, generating profit through effective pricing and vendor programs. With a foundation in account management and customer service, Kate's diverse skill set is complemented by a BS in Business Administration from Colby-Sawyer College and ongoing education in a Global MBA program at Southern New Hampshire University.
