Karl D. is an accomplished investment strategist with extensive experience in venture capital, structured finance, and investment banking. Currently serving as Chief Investment Strategist at Covenant Venture Capital since March 2022, Karl D. is responsible for managing investments in high-performing VC portfolios, focusing on later-stage companies. In addition, Karl D. has been a Manager at Insight Family Office since December 2014 and a Strategic Advisor at BAJ Accelerator since March 2020. Previous roles include Head of Investment Banking at Terra Nova Capital, Managing Director at UCC Capital, and various vice president positions at leading financial firms such as Merrill Lynch, JP Morgan, Bear Stearns & Co., and Salomon Brothers. Karl D. holds a degree in Economics from Princeton University, class of 1985.
