Amal Shukralla holds a Master’s degree in Financial Management from the University of Hull and possesses extensive experience in compliance and financial management roles. Currently serving as the Head of Compliance and MLRO at Bahrain Financing Company since March 2023, Amal previously held similar positions at Credit Libanais and at The Housing Bank for Trade and Finance, where the role was held from April 2012 to July 2014. Earlier positions include the Assistant Manager Accounts & Finance / Compliance Officer & MLRO at Family Bank Ltd from October 2009 to April 2012, Compliance Officer at Ebdaa Microfinance Bank - Bahrain for a brief period in 2009, and Accountant Officer roles at both Ebdaa Microfinance Bank and Eskan Bank in 2008-2009.
