Derrick Kihembo, CFA, currently serves as an Associate Portfolio Manager at Bahl & Gaynor, where responsibilities include supporting charitable trusts and non-profit organizations with long-term investment goals. Since June 2018, Derrick has also held the position of Senior Trader, focusing on enhancing the firm's investment process and ensuring optimal execution for client transactions across various financial instruments. Prior to this, Derrick worked at Jefferies as an Equity Sales Trader, contributing to institutional trading desks with personalized research and risk management. Derrick's background also includes coaching roles with the Johns Hopkins Men's Lacrosse Team and Sycamore High School, as well as a finance internship at Spectrum Brands, Inc. Derrick graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The Johns Hopkins University in 2016.
