Mark Gist is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in international business development and strategic planning. Currently serving as Vice President of International Business Development and Industrial Strategy at BAE Systems, Inc. since July 2021, Mark previously held various leadership roles at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems from January 2004 to July 2021, including Program Director for Sovereign Payload, Director of Industrial Participation and Offsets, and Director of Strategic Development. Mark's expertise encompasses program management for military and reconnaissance systems, public relations, and legal counsel as the Managing Partner & General Counsel for International Adventure Events and as Deputy City Attorney for the City of Escondido. Mark earned a Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science and Government.
