Akbar Surya Laksamana is a highly experienced engineer specializing in plant operations and health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) management, currently serving as the Lead Engineer for Plant Operational & HSE at Badak LNG since August 2010. With a background in chemical engineering and an MBA from Institut Teknologi Bandung, Akbar has held various roles including Utilities & Storage Loading Engineer and Process Train Engineer, where responsibilities included event investigation reporting, equipment integrity assessments, and process plant troubleshooting. Notable past contributions include leading major maintenance projects and enhancing safety procedures, as well as serving on several internal committees focused on quality and sustainability improvements. Akbar's prior experience also includes a brief assignment at Yemen LNG Company, assisting with critical equipment repairs, and a role at PT Kaltim Parna Industri, where chemical cleaning activities and plant performance evaluations were conducted.
