John Huston is a seasoned outdoor professional with extensive experience in expedition leadership, brand ambassadorship, and safety coordination. Currently a Brand Ambassador for Backpacker's Pantry and Mystery Ranch, as well as the Wilderness Safety Coordinator and Program Advisor for Northwestern University's Outdoor Orientation Program since 2012, John is dedicated to ensuring safety and program quality. As the Owner and Founder of Forward Endeavors LLC, John combines speaking and consulting, leveraging ambitious wilderness expeditions to inspire optimism and integrity. With a history as a Polar Explorer and Author through Forward Expeditions and a Polar Guide for various organizations, John's expertise extends to managing logistics and safety in extreme environments. John holds a BA in Anthropology, History, and Geography from Northwestern University.
