Eden Slezin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in various leadership and design roles. Currently serving as the Regional Director of Southern California at Sports Basement since May 2022, Slezin also holds the position of CEO and Head Designer at Mined on Denim since September 2018. As the Founder and Lead Backpacking Guide at Backcountry Found since 2005, guided backpacking tours of Grand Canyon National Park and contracted with REI Adventures. Prior experience includes significant roles at Sports Basement as Senior General Manager and GM Sports Basement Outdoors from November 2006 to March 2022, as well as design positions at Amour Vert and Cute Tank. Slezin's military background includes serving as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps from 1998 to 2004. Academically, Slezin holds a Master of Fine Arts in Fashion/Apparel Design from the Academy of Art University and a Bachelor of Science in Plant Genetics from the University of California, Davis.
