Kavita Herbert is the Founder and CEO of BackBone, a B2B digital matchmaking platform launched in December 2021, which has received multiple accolades including the Scale Investors Award at the CommBank Emerging Tech Startup Pitch Fest in May 2023 and recognition as a finalist in the 2024 SIMBA GALA Awards for Excellence in Business. Additionally, Kavita holds several partner and advisory roles in companies such as SkillsTX, Yarken, and Colibo A/S, as well as serving as Managing Director at K-Factor Advisory, focusing on technology and SaaS businesses across APAC and EMEA. Previous experience includes leadership positions at Templafy, Uber, Dropbox, and LinkedIn, where Kavita consistently drove revenue growth and established strategic partnerships. Kavita holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from RV College of Engineering.
