LeAnn Sucht has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Starting in 1984, they worked as a Software Engineer at SRI International before moving on to Sun Microsystems in 1990. In 1991, they joined Stanford University as a Software Researcher, where they contributed to the implementation of the VMTP transport level protocol. Following this, LeAnn worked at OpenTV Inc. as a Software Engineer and later as a Project Manager, focusing on interactive television systems. From 2001 to 2015, they took a mid-career break but returned to work in 2015 as a Software QA Engineer at Connected Data. At Connected Data and its successor Nexsan, LeAnn was responsible for software testing and project management. Currently, they are working at Backblaze as the Director of QA Engineering.
LeAnn Sucht has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Stanford University. LeAnn also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mathematics from the University of California, Davis.
