Samik Bandyopadhyay has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Samik is currently working at Backbase as a Principal Mobile Engineer. Prior to this, they worked at Cognizant as a Senior Associate from January 2019 to October 2021. Before that, they held the position of Technical Lead at Wipro Limited from July 2017 to October 2018. Samik also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Spectraforce Technologies from February 2017 to July 2017, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Apt Software Avenues (P) Ltd. from December 2010 to December 2016.

Samik Bandyopadhyay attended Dum Dum Kishore Bharati High School from 1986 to 1997. Samik then attended Dum Dum Motijheel College from 1997 to 1999. Samik later pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Vidyasagar College from 1999 to 2002. In 2018, Samik obtained a certification in the Google Re-skilling India Program (Android Expert) from Pluralsight.
