Jo Cooper is an accomplished executive recruitment leader with extensive experience in global talent acquisition across multiple regions, including Western Europe, Asia Pacific, and Africa. Currently serving as the Executive Recruitment Lead (Global) for Backbase since September 2024, Jo previously held senior recruitment roles at Arup, Microsoft, Dyson, Vodafone UK, IBM, and Westpac. Notable achievements include leading executive hiring strategies, managing recruitment for complex regions and high-level positions, and supporting organizational growth through strategic talent acquisition. Jo holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Natural Resource Recreation and Tourism and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Otago.
