Jacco Geelkerken has a diverse work experience in various roles within the areas of business analysis, consultancy, and project management. Starting in 2004, they worked as a Requirements Analyst at ANWB - Iprofs. From 2008 to 2011, they held roles as a Business Analyst at Media Catalyst and De Nederlandsche Bank, and later as a Business Consultant at the European Central Bank. In 2010, they worked as a Business Analyst Coach at NBB, and from 2011 to 2012, they served as a Project Manager at Joh. Enschedé | IT & Consultancy. Moving forward, they worked as a Business Analyst Coach at Portbase in 2012, and as a Business Consultant at iPROFS from 2001 to 2016. During their tenure at iPROFS, they also held the position of Requirements Analyst from 2001 to 2011. From 2016 to 2018, Jacco Geelkerken worked as a Business Consultant at Finalist. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Business Analysis at Backbase since 2022. Prior to this role, they also worked as a Lead Principal Business Analyst and Business Consultant and Chapter lead at the same company.

Jacco Geelkerken has a diverse education history. Jacco started their education by completing their MAVO degree at Kalsbeek College from 1991 to 1996. Jacco then pursued further studies at Abstede College, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Bedrijfskunde from 1996 to 1998. During the same period, they also completed a Havo-MBO program at Abstede College. In 1998, Jacco attended Hogeschool van Utrecht, where they earned certificates in Communicatie Systemen until 1999. Finally, from 2000 to 2003, Jacco studied Bedrijfskundige Informatica at Saxion University of Applied Sciences. Additionally, they have a certification in Managing Liferay Portal Fundamentals from Liferay, Inc.
