Joe Choi has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Joe started their career at Nittany Lion Inn in 2009, where they worked in event operations while attending college. Joe then interned as a Beverage Supervisor at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in 2011. From 2012 to 2014, Joe was an Operations Manager at Hakkasan Group, where they were involved in various aspects of the company's entertainment and nightlife business. Joe then joined Morgans Hotel Group as a Bars Operation Manager from 2014 to 2016. Joe's most recent position was at Backal Hospitality Group, where they held roles such as Senior Operations Manager, Assistant Director of Operations, F&B Controller, General Manager, and most recently, Director of Business Strategy since 2022.
Joe Choi attended Penn State University from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management with a field of study in Casino Management. In 2014, they also obtained the NYC Food Protection certification.
