Maria Terekhina has a diverse work experience. Maria is currently working as an Experienced Backend Engineer at Back Market since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Yandex as a Software Engineer from March 2020 to December 2022 and as a Junior Software Engineer from October 2019 to March 2020. Before joining Yandex, they worked as a Freelance Translator and Editor at the Agency for International Cooperation from December 2016 to October 2019. Maria also had internships at Yandex as a Software Engineer Intern from June 2019 to August 2019, and at METRO Cash & Carry Russia as an Information Technology Summer Intern in July 2018. Furthermore, they worked as a Professor Assistant at the Higher School of Economics from September 2016 to June 2017.

Maria Terekhina completed their Bachelor's degree in Applied Linguistics from the Higher School of Economics from 2015 to 2019. Maria also obtained additional certifications from Coursera, including Basics of C++ Development: Step 3 (out of 5), Basics of C++ Development: Step 2 (out of 5), Basics of C++ Development: Step 1 (out of 5), and Algorithmic Toolbox.
