Tamlyn Shimizu is an experienced professional in communications and partnerships, currently serving as the Global Partnerships & Communications Lead at BABLE Smart Cities since October 2020, where leadership skills are utilized to coordinate global efforts and promote partner initiatives. Tamlyn also hosts the podcast "Smart in the City," fostering discussions on Smart City issues. In addition to this role, Tamlyn is a Global Ambassador for BLOXHUB, a Core Team member of the New Mobility Services community within the CIVITAS initiative, and a Community Member of Urban Innovators Global. Prior experience includes serving as a Social Media Marketing & Growth Manager at SUKAKPAK, INC. and as an Education Volunteer with the Peace Corps. Tamlyn holds a Master's in Business - Marketing from the University of Houston-Victoria and a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies from Colorado State University.
