Peter Tran has held several positions in the tech industry. Peter began their career in 2011 as a Summer Student in Shipping at S&C Electric Company. In 2013, they were promoted to Assistant Design Engineer - Co-op at the same company. In 2015, they took on the role of Research and Development Intern at Mold-Masters Limited. In 2017, they moved to Nytric as a Quality Assurance Tester. Since 2018, they have been working at Baanto | ShadowSense as an Embedded/Toolchain Developer and later as a Junior Embedded/Toolchain Developer.

Peter Tran attended McMaster University from 2010 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering and Management (B.Eng.Mgt.) with a field of study in Mechatronics Engineering.
