John Andersen is a seasoned coach and educator with extensive experience in ice hockey and science education. Currently serving as the Head Coach for the EHL Boston Dukes at Boston Hockey Academy, John has also held the position of Tournament Director for Hockey Night in Boston since 2003. In the realm of education, John has taught physics at various institutions, including Lawrence Academy and Ursuline Academy, utilizing innovative remote teaching methods. Additionally, John has contributed as a Coordinator for the Race Day Medical Tent at the Boston Marathon since 1996 and has coached teams at different levels, demonstrating a strong commitment to developing both athletes and students. John holds a Master's degree in Education Administration from Springfield College and a Bachelor's degree in Science Education from Northeastern University.
