Prahlad Karki, MD, FACP, FRCP, FACC, FESC, FICC, serves as the Vice Chancellor at B. P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences since January 2003, where previously held positions include Ex Professor & Head of the Department of Internal Medicine and Cardiology, as well as Professor and Founding Head of the Departments of Cardiology and Internal Medicine. Prahlad Karki completed a Cardiology Fellowship at the National Heart Centre and a post-doctoral fellowship in Cardiology at Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, in 2011 and 1996, respectively. Educational qualifications include an MD from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, a WHO Fellowship in Medical Education from the University of Dundee, and an MBBS from LLRM Medical College, Meerut, India.
