Emily Leuning has worked for a variety of companies since 2007. Emily began their career as a Student Services Coordinator for AHA International in 2008 and then worked as an International Peer Advisor and English Tutor for the University of Oregon from 2007 to 2011. From 2011 to 2013, Emily worked as an International Admissions Evaluator for Portland State University and an Assistant Manager for the MarketLink Program at Oregon Microenterprise Network. From 2014 to 2015, Emily was the Economic Development Intern for the Cities of West Linn and Sherwood and then the Economic Development Coordinator for the City of Tigard. In 2016, Emily worked as a Brand Ambassador for BIKETOWN, operated by Motivate. Since 2017, Emily has been an Accounting, Magic Maker and High Five Giver and a Rider, Brand Ambassador and Special Projects employee for B-Line Sustainable Urban Delivery. Emily has also been the Public Affairs Manager for Engaging Local Government Leaders (ELGL) since 2014.
Emily Leuning earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Studies from the University of Oregon between 2004 and 2008. Emily then went on to receive a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Global Leadership and Management from Portland State University between 2010 and 2013.
