Miguel Vilaplana is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in SAP applications and consulting. As the current head of the IT Applications Department at Grupo Azvi since January 2019, Miguel oversees a team of five consultants responsible for various applications including SAP R3 and SAP BW. Previously, Miguel held significant roles at Unisys as a SAP Senior Consultant/Team Leader, at TUI España as a SAP FICO Consultant/Team Leader, and operated as a freelance software developer. With earlier positions including SAP FICO Consultant at Acuicultura S.A. and Sol Melia, and a foundational career starting as a SAP Consultant at SAP, Miguel has demonstrated extensive expertise in SAP implementation and support. Miguel holds a degree in Administration and Business Management with a financial focus from Universidad de Granada, and has pursued additional education in pedagogy and performing arts.
