Rafaela Vale serves as the Risk and Process Safety Manager at Azule Energy, a position held since April 2023. Prior experience includes roles at bp from September 2014 to March 2023, where Rafaela was the Risk and Process Safety Superintendent and held various leadership roles in maintenance campaign execution and operations support in Angola and the Gulf of Mexico. Significant achievements encompass leading safety initiatives on offshore platforms, managing maintenance campaigns, implementing control work processes, and enhancing marine operations for both Angola and Gulf of Mexico regions. Rafaela previously worked at ExxonMobil from April 2003 to August 2014 as the Marine Integrity Program Owner, managing projects related to marine equipment integrity and safety processes. Rafaela holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa.
