Jay Patel has a diverse background in sales and engineering roles. Jay is currently working as a Senior Sales Engineer at Azul, where they focus on providing exceptional capabilities, performance, security, and value to Java developers. Prior to Azul, Jay worked as a Technical Sales Engineer at Vitech Systems Group, where they developed technical documentation, created custom presentations, and translated technical features into value-based topics to drive understanding and adoption of innovative solutions. Jay also has experience as a Partner Adoption Manager and Business Technology Architect at Broadcom Inc., where they fostered relationships and facilitated best-of-breed solutions for large enterprise customers. Before that, Jay held roles at Cogniance, Riverbed Technology, Netuitive, Nastel Technologies, OpTier, AmberPoint, and Softworx Technology Group, where they leveraged their expertise in technology products, sales engineering, and providing technical guidance for various software and hardware innovations.

Jay Patel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Windsor, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. In addition to their degree, they have obtained two certifications: Certified SAFe® 5 DevOps Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. in August 2020, and SAFe 4 DevOps Practitioner from the same institution in September 2018.
