Shahzeb Iqbal has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and software engineering. Shahzeb is currently working at Azets as the Head of Technology and Director of Software Engineering, where they provide strategic direction and oversees various aspects such as software development, operational excellence, infrastructure management, and software security. Prior to this, Shahzeb worked at Nordea as the Head of Development, where they led multiple development units and was responsible for delivering strong business results and driving functional excellence. Shahzeb also served as the Chief of Engineering within the Trading Domain at Nordea, managing multiple initiatives and facilitating business development. Before joining Nordea, Shahzeb worked as an Expert IT Developer and Chairman of the technology network, where they drove system lifecycle management, incident management, problem management, and change management. Shahzeb also held the position of Senior Software Engineer and Lead Developer, where they designed, developed, and tested applications while ensuring code quality, flexibility, and incident management. Additionally, Shahzeb started their career at ideal systems as a Software Engineer and Product expert.

Shahzeb Iqbal completed a Bachelor's degree in Applied Information Technology with a specialization in Software Engineering and Management from the University of Gothenburg in the years 2004 to 2008. Additionally, Shahzeb has obtained several certifications including Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2021, Leading Others from the Leadership Pipeline Institute in 2021, Elements of AI from the University of Helsinki in 2019, IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2017, Certified Genesys eServices Consultant from Genesys in 2016, and Certified Genesys Voice Consultant from Genesys in 2015.
