Emin Huseynov serves as the Special Representative of the President in the liberated territories of the Karabakh Economic Region and the liberated part of AÄŸdam, a role held since May 2021, alongside positions on the Supervisory Boards of Azerbaijan Railways, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan, and the International Bank of Azerbaijan. Previously, Emin held the position of Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Finance, focusing on macroeconomic forecasting and public debt management, and served in various capacities at ADA University, including Vice Rector of Academic Affairs and Strategy. Emin's extensive experience in economic policy and research was further established through prior roles at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, the World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund. Emin holds a Ph.D. in Econometrics from Baku State University, an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School, and an MSc in Economics from Florida State University.
