Yusuf Ismail Oktay has an extensive work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. In 2009, they started their career as a Senior Java Developer at Vizyoneks and later worked as an Expert Software Engineer at Alcatel-Lucent Turkey, where they delivered projects for telecom companies and gave seminars on Java and Agile. Yusuf Ismail then founded Mobidik Teknoloji, where they undertook various software projects and developed automation software and a multimedia entertainment client.

In 2012, Yusuf joined Turkcell Technology as a Senior Software Engineer, responsible for the software development life cycle of the Central Product Catalog Management system, achieving significant performance enhancements. Yusuf Ismail also worked as a Solutions Architect at AvivaSA Emeklilik ve Hayat, participating in the IT modernization program and serving as a deputy enterprise architect.

From 2017 to 2019, Yusuf worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Ericsson, contributing to a telecommunication architecture transformation project and designing an OSGi-based ESB solution. Yusuf Ismail then joined WAES as a Software Consultant, developing a domain-driven feedback application for Rabobank using Java, Spring Boot, and Azure Active Directory.

In 2019, Yusuf briefly worked at Rabobank as a Senior Software Engineer, optimizing a complex test automation framework. Yusuf Ismail later joined ViaBill as a Back End Developer and eventually took on the role of Technical Lead, before transitioning to their current position in 2022 as a Software Developer at ayoba.

Yusuf Ismail Oktay completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering at Sakarya University from 2001 to 2005. Yusuf Ismail then pursued a Master's Degree (Non-Thesis) in Management and Organization at Marmara University from 2007 to 2014.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Yusuf has obtained additional certifications. In March 2019, they received an EF SET English Certificate with a score of 79 out of 100, indicating a proficiency level of C2 (Proficient). In September 2019, Yusuf achieved the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) certification from Amazon Web Services.
