Sarkees Farajian holds the SHRM-CP certification and has extensive experience in human resources within the hospitality industry. Currently serving as the Human Resources Section Head at Ayla Oasis Development Company since March 2019, Sarkees has previously held roles including Assistant Director of Human Resources at Rotana Hotel Management Corporation PJSC, Recruitment Manager at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, and Human Resources Supervisor/In Charge of Recruitment at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. Earlier career positions include Human Resources Coordinator at Kempinski Hotels and Front Desk Agent at Kempinski Hotel Aqaba. Sarkees obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Hospitality Administration/Management from European University Cyprus and completed high school with a scientific focus at Rossary Sisters School.
