Eric Spangler has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Eric is currently employed as an Assistant Professor at Lewis University since January 2016. Eric previously co-founded and served as the Managing Partner of Ayana Technical Services, Inc. starting from February 2012. In 2018, they became a Scuba Diving Instructor for independent and some Dive Centers. Eric has also worked as an Adjunct Professor at the College of DuPage since March 2001. Eric has held the role of a First Aid/CPR/AED/O2/Bloodborne Pathogens Instructor Trainer for independent and some Dive Centers since June 2017. Prior to that, they served as the VP of Operations at JDA eHealth Systems, Inc. from January 2011 to January 2014. Eric was also an IT Manager at AAPMR from July 2009 to December 2010 and a Network Manager at Serta from September 2008 to May 2009. Eric started their career as a Contractor at Tek System from March 1997 to August 2008 and later worked as a Senior Network Engineer/Contractor at CSC at AON and CICA from December 2007 to June 2008.
Eric Spangler has a diverse education history. In 2022, they will be pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Cyberpsychology at Capitol Technology University. Additionally, from 2022 to 2024, they are planning to obtain a Master of Science (MS) degree in Psychology from Purdue Global.

In January 2021, they became an Instructor Trainer at Divers Alert Network. In previous years, they also obtained certifications such as CPR/AED, First Aid & Bloodborne Pathogens/O2 Instructor Trainer, Instructor Trainer at Emergency First Response, Open Water Scuba Diver Instructor, Specialty Scuba Diver Instructor, IDC Staff Instructor, and Master Scuba Diver Trainer, among others. Eric acquired these certifications from organizations like PADI, SDI TDI ERDI, and Divers Alert Network.
