Nik Horvat has over 15 years of work experience in the IT field. Nik began their career in 2005 as a Technical Analyst at KeyBank. One year later, they moved into the role of Programmer Analyst at the same company. In 2011, they joined Cliffs Natural Resources as a Middleware Engineer, responsible for the planning, implementation, maintenance, support, and life cycle for over 20 enterprise applications and technologies. In 2015, they joined Dealer Tire as a Senior SRE, SRE, and Senior Middleware Specialist. That same year, they also joined PNC as a Linux Support Engineer. Most recently, in 2022, they became a Senior System Engineer at Axuall, Inc.

Nik Horvat is currently enrolled at Cleveland State University. Nik has also obtained two certifications from the Scrum Alliance: an Advanced Certified Scrum Developer in May 2021 and a Certified Scrum Developer in April 2021.
