Hugo Lara is an experienced professional in cyber security, currently serving as the Cyber Defense Manager at Axtel since November 2005. In this role, Hugo leads the development of global cyber security strategies, demonstrating expertise in incident response, vulnerability management, and computer forensics, while focusing on protecting organizations from cyber attacks. With strong leadership skills and the ability to manage personnel and business processes, Hugo effectively collaborates with various internal and external departments. Previous roles include Information Security Leader and Cloud Services & Security Coordinator, showcasing a broad skill set in project management, IT, network security, and cloud services. Additionally, Hugo served as a teacher at ITESM, imparting knowledge in science, technology, and eCommerce. Hugo holds an MBA from Tecnol贸gico de Monterrey and a degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Universidad de Monterrey.
