Jody Gonzales has been working in the telecommunications industry since 2008. From 2008 to 2012, they were the CEO of Axtel Consulting. In 2012, they began working as a VoIP Telecommunications Specialist for MyVoIP, where they provided businesses with a feature-rich, reliable, efficient, and affordable hosted VoIP office phone service.

Jody Gonzales attended SUNY Brockport from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained Bachelor's degrees in History, International Studies, and Spanish. Jody also holds certifications from BICSI and Avaya, including ICT Design Fundamentals- Structured Cabling Systems (obtained in February 2014), Avaya ACSS SME Communications-Support Specialist (obtained in August 2016), and Avaya APSS SME Communications-Sales Specialist (obtained in March 2016).
