Faisal Hussain has a strong background in database engineering and administration. Faisal started their career in 1995 as a Senior System Engineer and Infrastructure Integrator at VASA North America, Inc. From 1997 to 1999, they worked as an IT Director at Community Health Plan of SBL Insurance Co. Faisal then joined TD Ameritrade as a Senior DBA from 1999 to 2005. Faisal worked at Intuit as a Sr. Database Administrator from 2005 to 2008, and then as the Manager of the DBA Group from 2009 to 2013. Faisal later joined AXS, where they held various roles, including Senior Database Engineer from 2013 to 2016, Manager of the Database Engineer Group from 2016 to 2019, and currently serves as the Senior Manager for Database Engineering.

Faisal Hussain has a diverse education history in the field of computer science and information systems. Faisal pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from the University of Indianapolis. Following that, they obtained an Associate's degree in Management Information Systems and Services from InterCollege Larnaca. Faisal also completed a Master's degree in Computer Science from Indiana University - Purdue University Indianapolis.

In addition to their formal education, Faisal holds several certifications. Faisal obtained a MongoDB DBA certification from 10gen Education in January 2013. In March 2012, they completed the Intuit Global Foundations of Leadership program under the guidance of Jill Colh, the Program Manager at Intuit Management. Faisal also received training in Covey Leadership and obtained The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People certification in August 1994.
