Ramesh Govindan is an accomplished IT leader currently serving as the Sr. Vice President and Head of Information Technology at Axos Bank since July 2023, where the focus is on overseeing comprehensive IT infrastructure with an emphasis on security, reliability, and scalability. Prior to this role, Ramesh held several key positions, including Director of Enterprise Engineering & Operations at Stanford Children's Health from July 2018 to June 2023, and Senior Vice President/Director of IT Infrastructure, Engineering & Operations at Mechanics Bank from March 2015 to March 2018. Ramesh has extensive experience with various organizations including Bank of America, Harrah's Entertainment, Mervyns, and Manhattan Associates. Ramesh's educational background includes a Chief Technology Officer Executive Program and a Technology Leadership Program from prestigious institutions such as The Wharton School and Cornell University, as well as a Master's degree from the University of Madras.
