Anthony Luong has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Anthony began their career as a Chemist in Analytical Technologies Inc. in 1994 and then worked as a Research Associate in Trega Bioscience and Spyder Instruments from 1997 to 1999. Anthony transitioned into the field of software development, working as a Software Developer at Vertex Pharmaceuticals (Aurora Biosciences) from 2000 to 2001. Anthony then joined Illumina Inc as a Software Engineer from 2001 to 2006.

From 2006 to 2010, Anthony took on the role of a Software Engineer at Biosite/Inverness Medical, where they contributed to software, database, and systems development. Anthony later became a Software Development Manager at Alere (Biosite/Inverness Medical) from 2006 to 2011, leading software development and collaborating with various business units.
